Research & Evaluation  
		
		This division is responsible for the provision of a wide range of research,  evaluation, and program support activities to assist program staff to carry  out their programmatic activities.  These services include:
  
 
- Program Research and Evaluation which includes regulation and
  policy analysis, survey designs and data collection, statistical  analysis, evaluation, report preparation, and presentation. 
  
- Technical Assistance and Training which includes needs
  assessment, training design and materials development,  development of evaluation procedures, training of trainers, technical assistance delivery planning, and actual delivery of technical  assistance. 
  
 
- Publications and Document Support which includes writing --
  preparation of training manuals, meeting summaries, guidebooks,  and research results; editing -- including production editing, copy  editing, and substantive editing; word processing; graphics; and  desktop publishing. 
  
- Conference Management which includes the full range of conference
  management and support activities from site selection, program  design, speaker/trainer selection, invitation/brochure mailing,  registration, cashiering, program logistics, onsite conference  management, program evaluation, and close out.  These services  may also include related conference support activities such as curriculum design and development, the development of  custom-designed instructional materials, development of computer  assisted instructionprograms, and the provision of technical writing   and publications support.
